Description
Located northeast of the Sierra de Iturbide, Nuevo León, at an altitude of 2,400 meters above sea level, it is one of the best places for astronomy observation in Mexico.
Duration: 2 days and 1 night.
The tour consists of the round transportation service from Monterrey to Iturbide Nuevo León, climbing the Picacho hill in a safari-type all-terrain vehicle, access to the facilities of the University Astronomical Observatory, use of the camping area in the visitor service center and tour led by the specialized staff from the Autonomous University of Nuevo León.
DOES NOT INCLUDE CAMPING EQUIPMENT.
The activity is aimed at people with or without prior knowledge of astronomy.
Tour starts: 10:00 a.m. on the first day, leaving Monterrey. The tour ends: 5:00 p.m. on the second day arriving in Monterrey.
