Itinerary
• 9:00 a.m. Visit to the indigenous communities of San Juan Chamula and Zinacantán to learn about their traditions. In the church of San Juan Chamula we will observe a mystical mixture of indigenous and Catholic rites. In Zinacantán we will live with a local family and we will appreciate their handmade embroideries.
• 1:00 pm. We will return to San Cristóbal de las Casas. Time to visit the downtown to see the Cathedral, Plaza de La Paz, Santo Domingo and the Arco del Carmen. Time for lunch and free afternoon.
