The El Chiflón Waterfalls are beautiful waterfalls surrounded by sugarcane plantations and tropical forest in Chiapas.
Visiting the Montebello Lagoons is like seeing the sky on the ground; they are an unmissable paradise in Chiapas.
Itinerary:
• 8:00 am. Departure to the Chiflón Waterfalls.
• 10:30 a.m. Time to walk along the banks of the San Vicente river a walkway until you reach the highest waterfall "Velo de Novia", getting to know on the way, the waterfalls "Ala de Angel" and "Suspiro"; Time to cool off in the crystalline waters and/or jump off the zip line. The optional zip line activity is not included. It is advisable to bring a change of clothes and a personal towel at hand.
• 1:00 pm. We will move to the Lagunas de Montebello National Park to observe the different shades of its lakes and lagoons surrounded by forest. Some of the lakes we will visit are Pojoj, Tziscao, Encantada, Esmeralda and Ensueño. Time to admire the landscapes and eat, as well as do some optional activity such as taking a raft ride.
Note: The cost of optional activities is not included in the tour price. • Return to San Cristóbal de las Casas.
