Description
On this excursion to the "Sumidero Canyon" we will enjoy a boat ride through one of the great jewels of the state of Chiapas. In addition, we will visit the colonial town "Chiapa de Corzo".
Itinerary:
9:45 am Welcome at the hotel in Tuxtla Gutiérrez. Transfer to the pier.
10:30 am Boat ride through the majestic Sumidero Canyon on the Grijalva River, one of the main tourist attractions in Chiapas. Along the way it will be possible to observe several species of birds and with a little more luck, monkeys and crocodiles.
1:00 pm Visit to Chiapa de Corzo where there will be time to get to know the downtown with its Mudejar-style fountain and the former convent of Santo Domingo and taste typical dishes.
Later we will return to San Cristóbal de las Casas to rest arriving at 3:30 p.m. Rest of the afternoon free to walk through its walkways and get to know the Cathedral, Plaza de La Paz, Santo Domingo and the Arco del Carmen
