The city of Tlatelolco was once connected to the North by a great avenue that led to the hill of Tepeyac where the Aztecs venerated Tonantzin, today better known as Our Lady of Guadalupe and it is precisely here where we will make our next stop.

Today popularly known as La Villa or the Basilica of Guadalupe, it is the most important religious site in all of Mexico and one of the most visited Catholic places in the world, which receives more than 20 million pilgrims a year.

The Virgin of Guadalupe in Mexico is not only a religious symbol, it is also a symbol of identity for Mexicans, it is no coincidence that the first president of the republic will be called Guadalupe Victoria. For all this the visit to the Basilica of Guadalupe is practically obligatory for believers and nonbelievers.

After Basilica of Guadalupe, we leave Mexico City to continue our journey to Teotihuacan, "the city of the gods", which is located to the northeast of the federal district. Along the way we can be surprised by organized chaos due to the demographic explosion of this city and its surroundings.
